When I raised concerns about cases being buried and complaints going unanswered, I was reassigned. Then sidelined. Then let go.
I am not the only one. The pattern matters because it changes what workers believe is safe to say and safe to do. Once that happens, illegal conduct can remain hidden inside ordinary process.
The people harmed are the families the office was supposed to protect.
